12 to 4pm every Tuesday in September

Those seeking a peaceful, comfortable space to work on individual projects in parallel with others - look no further! We offer this space in hopes of supporting friends and neighbors who benefit from body- doubling specifically or being in community more broadly, especially queer, disabled, and neurodiverse folks. All are welcome!

9/8 - 10/27 • Slow Flow Yoga with Lauren Verbilla

10 to 11am on Sundays 9/8-10/27

Give yourself the gift of self-care, stretching and community at Sunday Morning Slow Flow Yoga. This class offers slow and accessible yoga poses along with breath exercises to help you create a grounded foundation for the week ahead. This series is perfect for beginners or those who aren’t sure how to incorporate a yoga practice into their life but want to try. You will leave each class feeling centered and clear as you complete the weekend.

We’re thrilled to partner with the Montco Jazz Fest for their third annual jazz festival! Join us on Friday September 20th as we will be hosting local jazz trio, 3 for the Road, for an evening of live jazz standards and soul! All ages / BYOB 21+

Welcome to FREE DANCE, a judgement free zone to dance & be free with your body! Join us for a Saturday afternoon class, a mix of dance aerobics, booty shaking, + some improv movement & strength training. All levels & genders are welcome!

9/22 • Childbirth Education Express

1 to 5pm on Sunday 9/22

This 4-hour session will give you all the basics of what to expect, how to prepare, how to navigate your birth choices, and how to have a more comfortable, confident birth experience. This class is appropriate for parents whether they're considering an unmedicated birth, epidural, home birth, birth center, or hospital. This registration is good for one pregnant person and one support person.

9/24 • Playing With Color

7 to 8:30pm on Tuesday 9/24

A painting/mixed media art class for adults looking to explore and or reignite their creativity. Whether you are a beginner looking for a gentle introduction to painting or you already have an artistic practice and are looking to shake things up, this class will give you the structure and the space to play and experiment with a variety of techniques. The exercises we will explore together can be used to help get a painting started, to develop an idea, or to work out a creative block in a loose and playful way. Paints, paper, and brushes are provided!

9/25 • Glenside Collage Club

6:30 to 8:30pm on Wednesday 9/25

Collage Club is now MONTHLY! Join us on the last Wednesday of each month to get collaging ✂️ Lead by local artist John Scott, aka New & Wesley, who guides - gives tips - and supplies wonderful insight on the art of collage. Some materials will be included but please bring items you would like to use in your collages. Ex : old photographs, postcards, magazines, pattern paper, etc. It’s a great way to meet other local artists & creatives!

Creative movement for ages 4-7 of all genders! Spend the 11 o’clock hour every 4th Saturday with JoJo at The CO Lab and expand your kiddo’s movement skills. Each session is full of interactive dance play, all while learning & exploring personal space, and the elements of dance! Plus, plenty of movement games and free dancin’ 💛

9/28 • Postpartum Strong with Third Space Fitness Collective

12:30 to 2:30pm on Saturday 9/28

Postpartum Strong is built for postpartum parents who are rebuilding their fitness practice after baby. This two hour class will integrate a scalable strength training routine with core recovery work, stress management/self-regulation practice, and tips on how to reimagine workouts with baby. We will also discuss adaptations + healing work for those who have experienced c-sections and would like to return to specific movement practices like running, weightlifting, and group exercise classes.

Join us for local, live music every First Friday of the month. A great way to grab a six pack, or a bottle of wine, a buddy or a love, and take a walk around the block to hear terrific music. The space is cozy and welcoming to all. The Dovetail (next door) stays open late for a little shopping while listening. Cover charge is donation based & goes to the artists. Joining us this month is Speeding Arrow and their Cosmic Country set of music!

We’ll move our bodies, practice our breathing, and enjoy time together on the mat. Ideal for children ages 2-7 and their grown-up(s)!

10/9 • Spinning Babies Prep Class

6 to 9pm on Wednesday 10/9

During labor the baby needs to pass through the three levels of the pelvis. Learn techniques to help your pelvis and its muscles that support or restrict your pelvic levels. Together, you and your birth partner can use these techniques before and during labor to help “make room for baby!” Spinning Babies reveals how the baby can find optimal positions for labor, and make birth less painful, and even pleasurable! This class is for expectant parents only.

10/10 • “Yes, and… WINE!” Improv Comedy night with Dramactive Arts

6:30 to 8:30pm on Thursday 10/10

Come wine down, meet new friends, and try some improv! This workshop will introduce to the basic concept of improv "yes, and . . ." and have you laughing all night long. You will learn a little bit about Dramactive Arts and get a taste of improv, all while enjoying some wine! This is a perfect opportunity if you are interested in taking an improv class, but are not yet ready to commit. No experience is neccesary! $25. Some wine will be included, but you are encouraged to bring a bottle of your favorite to add to the collection to share!

Fall is a season of transition and letting go. We invite you to take a beautiful pause. This class will combine breathwork, meditation, and gentle movements integrating elements of hatha and restorative yoga. We will create space to get quiet, connect with ourselves and let go of anything that doesn’t serve us (goodbye stress, worry, fear, doubt, etc.) It’s a gentle class where everyBODY is welcome. No yoga experience required.

Join us to make a super spooky, super silly Halloween painting that you can use every year to decorate for the Creepy Season! All supplies, a thrifted painting to re-vamp, and painting materials will be provided. A brief lesson/tutorial will be given, then have fun turning your thrifted painting into a haunted work of art! BYOB! Plus we'll have some light refreshments 🎃

10/22 • Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED: blended class

6 to 8:30pm on Tuesday 10/22

Feel prepared for emergencies with people of any age. A particular must for parents and caregivers. This class will teach you basic lifesaving skills for adults, children, and infants. It covers CPR, use of an automatic defibrillator, choking, and first aid. Upon completion, you will receive your American Red Cross certification.

10/23 - 11/27 • The 4th Trimester Fitness Method Postpartum Recovery

10 to 11:15am on Wednesdays 10/23-11/27

Have you wondered how to get back to doing what you love to do? Would you like to have a safe place to bring your new baby with you to class? The 4th Trimester Fitness Method Postpartum Recovery class is for you! This six-week series will meet once per week beginning on the start date listed. Your registration is good for one person and their non-crawling baby/babies.

In our culture, birthing people are often an after thought to the baby that’s arrived. While our lives are forever changed, we rarely get the chance to be heard. Whether your birth experience was exactly what you hoped and dreamed for, or unexpected circumstances left you wondering “where do I go from here?”, there’s room for all of us in the Birth Story Circle. Join us for journaling, sharing, and connecting. Pay what you can, suggested contribution $20-$40.
